My father's Sheikh is a very pious man and an old family friend. I sometimes visit him socially. Is this having 2 Sheikhs? I understood, from Sea without Shore, that you benefited from Haji Baba (RA) even though he wasn't your Sheikh.¶
In my government job, my manager informally gives us three days off per week, while recording our attendance, so we receive full salaries — all without affecting the work. Is this permissible?¶
