I worry that Allah will throw us in hell for things we never suspected, like using plastic or buying something made unethically. How can I ensure that ignorance won’t land me in hell, or that Allah will give me the knowledge that I need to avoid punishment?¶
I find it very difficult to be still during the dhikr of the Supreme Name and Nasim al-Wasl. I find I am always moving, absent-minded, and irritated by the stillness. What should I do?¶
Ibn al-‘Arabi speaks of ‘consciousness of consciousness’ in his Futuhat al-Makkiyya, which is not spoken of in Darqawi literatures. Is there a reference to this within other North African Sufi literatures? What is the difference between pure consciousness and consciousness of consciousness?¶
