Nagging does not work, so to what extent are we expected to give advice or tarbiya to those we are responsible for? Does saying something just once count as fulfilling one’s duty?¶
You said seeing a cat in one’s dreams means one’s nafs. In my wakeful imagination, I often appear to be a small forlorn boy. Does the nafs’s ability to observe submission refer to a different or rather a direct and experiential point of view?¶
Recently being oppressed by old age, I feel more oppressed by not being the fortunate ones who have returned unto the Supreme Companion.
