You mention the tariqa ilahiyya and tariqa Shadhiliyya whilst speaking of the legacy of Sheikh ‘Abd al-Rahman. Since the Prophet is the teleological cause of creation, what purpose does this vertical line serve?¶
When praying at home, would you recommend reciting the sunna dhikrs after the fard prayer aloud with the intention of teaching these adhkar to one’s family?¶
Does Imam [Abul Hasan] al-Shadhili have unseen secrets of amana that connect him to Surat al-Takwir and Surat al-Quraysh? Someone sent a particular method of reading these suras and making tawassul through him for security.¶
In seeking a higher degree or higher education, MA or PhD, etc. how should one approach thoughts about working more humbly instead; for example, of a shoemaker or a bookseller, etc. in regards to one’s tariqa?¶
