In the ‘Azima al-Shadhiliyya, is the shukr between the second and third ‘subhana Llah’ spoken or silent? Is it spoken in any language? Isn’t one only supposed to make du‘a in Arabic in the Shafi‘i and Hanafi schools?¶
Sometimes one travels and stays in the room with a non-murid and finds it difficult to perform the dhikr of the Supreme Name with a vocal sound. Can one whisper it so one can only hear himself so as to not disturb his roommate?¶
I have a twenty-five-year-old daughter who is constantly incorporating haram practices into her life. She does not live with me and will not listen to me. As a concerned parent, what should I do?¶
