When making dhikr of the Name, I sometimes find I am overwhelmed with an intensity I find hard to describe. The closest thing I can liken it to is the intensity of the final shawt of the hadra.¶
I have heard you using terms like ‘being absolutely annihilated in Allah’ and at other times ‘being annihilated in the absolute presence of Allah’. Are both these states ontologically identical?¶
