Some people hold the view that they may still belong to a tariqa after turning their back on the sheikh that initiated them. What is the reality of the matter, and at what point do one’s misgivings about the sheikh cause the covenant to be broken?¶
How do we avoid this enormity,‘And it was revealed to Nuh that no one will believe except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they are doing’?¶
How does one stop the mind from talking incessantly, so much that it reduces one’s sleep to two or three hours, but allows one to keep up their good works? As a result, the mind is scatterbrained and encourages surprisingly negative whispers.¶
