For those living in the West who wish to pursue seeking knowledge, learning Arabic, advancing in Quranic recitation to become a Qari where would you recommend to go to pursue these studies?¶
I'm often the only woman at our local hadra majlis, sitting separately and listening to the men's hadra. Do I still have the same spiritual benefit? Should I stop going as it annoys my husband that I come with him, when I have no one to do the hadra with?¶
I have received a marriage proposal from a man from other tariqa. What's best for me, someone from our tariqa or from another tariqa? This man is saying he'll let me choose my path and co-operate by way of picking and dropping me off at the zawiya.¶
